Austral Ed is a book supplier from Adelaide, Australia specialising in the supply of books to overseas International Schools and Universities, especially in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. We also supply schools and teachers within Australia.
We offer a service of recommendations and advice on books, especially Australian and multicultural titles, both fiction and nonfiction, for libraries and teachers at primary and secondary level.
A newsletter, Book News, is produced twice each year in January and September. Contact me if you would like this newsletter to be sent to you by email. We also compile lists of recommended books on various subjects. These lists are being continually updated.
Austral Ed works in the same way as a bookshop. Although we do not have a shop open to the general public, teachers and librarians or anyone with a special interest in our books are welcome to come and visit the large display and office area at our premises at 2 Downer Avenue, Belair in the Adelaide Hills, 20 minutes from the centre of Adelaide. We have a specialised but wide range of books on display. It is best to phone first to arrange a time.
